Indonesia is a tropical country which
has the second largest forest area in the world. The existence of this forest
is certainly a blessing separately. Forests are a natural ecosystem that
biodiversity is very high . The forest in Indonesia is very important not only
for Indonesia but also for all living creatures on earth . Forests in Indonesia
is often dubbed as the lungs of the world . This is reasonable given the amount
of existing trees in these forests can recycle the air and produce a healthier
environment for humans. Unfortunately, recent forest fires in Indonesia are
becoming more frequent . The causes can be varied which is divided into two
main groups , nature and human intervention . According to statistical data ,
forest fires in Indonesia as much as 90 % due to humans and the rest is the
will of nature .
Forest as a Natural Ecological
Forest fires in Indonesia is an event where classified forest as a natural ecological changes caused by the shape of
the combustion activity on a large scale . Basically , these events have a
negative impact or positive. However , if observed , the negative impacts of
forest fires is much more dominant than positive impact . Therefore, it is
important to be prevented in order not to harm the negative impact of too much
man . One of the most basic prevention is to understand the causes of forest
fires in Indonesia . In the Dictionary of Forestry , published by the Ministry
of Forestry of Indonesia , said that forest fires are caused by nature and man
. Natural context include prolonged drought is also a bolt of lightning . While
the human factor , among others, negligence throw cigarettes butts , burning
forest for land clearing , forgot to shut down the camp fire and many others .
Forest fires in Indonesia needs to be
addressed appropriately because these events have adverse effects to human life

- Forest fires will spread amount of carbon emissions into the atmosphere and contribute to the region in the phenomenon of ozone depletion .
- With the burning of forests , wildlife will lose the house where they live and feed . The loss of animals in large numbers would result in an imbalance of the ecosystem .
