Learning the Basics of Ecology
the basic of ecology |
Simply put , the science of ecology
is defined as the study of ecosystems . In detail , it can also be interpreted
as a study of the interrelationships between organisms with other organisms and
inanimate objects around him . Ecology is often referred to as the basic
science of the environment, although it must be recognized that the scope is
much narrower than the ecology of environmental science. In this article , we
will discuss the basics of ecology that includes the division of ecology,
ecological principles , as well as parts of the ecosystem which is a major
study of the science of ecology.
Division of Ecology
Fundamentals of Ecology is important
to note is the division of ecological science itself . In general , it is
divided into two categories namely :
·
Autecological , the science which
deals with the history of life as well as patterns of adaptation of individual
organisms on the surrounding environment .
·
Sinekologi , is part of the science
of ecology to discuss class or group of organisms in which they are associated
to form a coherent unity that can not be separated from each other .
So , it could be interpreted , if
one study wanted to examine the ecology of insects such relationship with its
environment, the scientists use autecological approach . Meanwhile , if he
conducted a study with the aim to identify the characteristics of the
environment in which the insect life then approach using sinekologi .
Ecological principles is nothing but
a causal relationship between the organisms that exist in this world . As the
principal study in the ecosystem , one individual can not be separated from
other individuals . Warrant for the sake of survival , an organism which
depends on the presence of other organisms . Among these organisms would build
an interaction involving the exchange of energy in it. Relationships between
organisms and the environment are complex and too complex , the interaction is
then formed ecological system often also referred to as ecosystems .
Fundamentals of Ecology
Fundamentals of Ecology further
includes identification of the organism from one entity to form a community .
To better understand the science of ecology , there is no harm in re-
consulted. Following the identification of the level of organization in the
ecosystem :
·
Protoplasm
, is a living substance in the cell that is composed of highly complex organic
compounds such as proteins , fats and others .
·
Cells
, is the basic unit of an organism that is composed of protoplasm and nucleus
of cells .
·
Network
, is a collection of cells that have the shape and functions tend to be similar
.
·
Organ
, is part of an organism with a specific function .
·
The
system of organs , is cooperation among the functional structure is also
dynamic yet harmonious .
·
Organisms
, often also called the individual or living creatures .
·
Population
, is a group of individuals or organisms that are at a certain time and place .
·
Community
, is a set of population in one particular area .
·
Ecosystem
, an intact unity among organisms with their environment interrelated also
influence each other .
·
Biosphere
, is the unity of the earth that encapsulates all that is in the earth's
ecosystems .
It
is important to learn the basics of ecology before doing activities to study
the organisms in an ecosystem . Because with basically understand the nature of
the organism will be easily identified .
